Stores update their own hours in Google Business Profile — no need to tell marketing. The website follows automatically within a few minutes of the next 3-hour sync. Header, homepage locator and each store’s page read Google live.
What changed today (Jul 15) — for Darryl:
• Sync cadence sped up from weekly → every 3 hours (tunable). All 53 stores just re-pulled from Google.
• Nothing is pinned/locked — Google drives every store (true autopilot). e.g. Rymal now shows its live Google hours.
• Fallback: marketing can force an instant re-sync or hold a store to manual hours from the maps.sessions.ca portal (Hours tab) if a Google listing is ever wrong.
• Alerting: the inventory email now also flags any store whose Google-hours sync fails, so we hear about it.
Note: the /locations grid status pills still read a build-time snapshot; making those pull live too is a small website deploy, queued separately.

How it stays in sync: the site pulls each store's opening hours from Google Places every 3 hours (and live on the store's own page + homepage locator + header). To change a store's Store hours, update them in that store's Google Business Profile — the website follows automatically. Manual pins remain available for any store where Google is wrong.
